Postknight Wiki

Enemies in Postknight are the main threat to the player during the adventure, damaging and knocking them backwards to prevent progress through each level.

There are three main enemies within Postknight: Melee, Ranged and Boss. Melee enemies tend to walk to the left of the screen, directly at the player to come in close quarters with and damage them. Ranged enemies don't move at all and instead fire projectiles towards the player. Boss enemies fire projectiles and run away from the player, forcing the latter to approach them quickly with charge attacks.

Each world contains eight different enemies, usually consisting of four melee enemies, three ranged enemies and one boss, with a few exceptions. Caldemount and Valley of Gold have only two ranged enemies, and Fractured Forest, being larger in scale, has five melee enemies, four ranged enemies, and one boss for a total of ten unique enemies. Each of these can be defeated by the player to fulfill quests.

Unlike the prequel, enemies in a patrol route will decrease in number each time you repeat & finish it until you can no longer select the respective patrol route (noted by the client). You can select the chosen patrol route again after 4 hours have passed (1 hour per Patrol run). Note that the bosses of respective areas will only spawn once on a patrol route refresh, you will not encounter a boss after successive completions of their route.
